Thanks. That shouldn't happen of course, I'll have a look
Could you provide a debug log, please? When using 0.6.0 there's an option for this in settings.
Hi Phako.
Thanks for getting back to me on this.
I was using Helium 0.4.0 when I reported the bug. I’ve now installed the 0.6.0 so I could send the debug log. And cheers – Helium 0.6.0 works perfectly with my Panasonic DMP-BDT220 Blu-Ray renderer.
The volume bar is grayed out as it should be, and the music is playing nicely.
Great stuff, keep up the good work!
Regards Bjarne.

Helium is working great with my Squeezebox receiver as renderer. But using my Blu-Ray player Panasonic DMP-BDT220/221 as renderer crashes Helium. The program simply shuts down. The BDT220 does not support volume control and it seems to me, that Helium crashes when trying to display the volume bar. So i guess a fix would be to check for volume support before trying to control the volume level, or to make a provision to disable volume control all together. You may ask - why use a Blu-Ray as media renderer when a Squeezebox receiver is at hand? Well - the Panasonic has a very good DAC, so the music simply sounds better than the Squeezebox. Thanks for the app.
