Unicode strikethrough bug #11

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Everything is seen on the first screenshot: the unicode strikethrough symbol
isn’t rendered properly (for example Georgia font (like on screenshot),
Lucida Grande etc.).

This problem does not reproduce in all fonts: cf. screenshot 2 with Tahoma
font—there it’s rendered closer to normal (still not perfectly).

Also, I think that it’s unlikely that the problem is only with one symbol,
perhaps there is some class of symbols which do all fail

It seems that even with mactype turned off, I still got the same result in IE8,
Win7

Oh, then sorry, the problem is not on the mactype side, it must deal with the
poor unicode coverage in some fonts.
