Unable to access our Hudson server - maybe due to url not being as expected by the plugin #38

Our Hudson system runs at:

http://ws018.diamond.ac.uk:8080/

I am unable to enter the above as a base url without the status changing to
Invalid URL. However the Digger is able to find the address. But then on
selecting it the Hudson fails to connect with the messages
"Unable to get status from Hudson" Reason:Unable to communicate with
Hudson" and the details box shows "No status constant for value disabled".
