Lockfile is passing -1 as a range in .Net Proxy #175

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Put a breakpoint in the lock file code
2. Attempt a Drag and copy operation over in an implementation of the .Net 
Interface
3. The Proxy callback has a -1 for the range to be locked.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- some +ve value

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- Latest 0.5.3
