Chat deleted #36

Every time I enter combat my chat is completely deleted. At first I thought it was fading but it is actually cleared. How can I fix this? I would still like to keep my chat up as I normally would even going in and out of combat.

I figured out what is causing it. For some reason when I have "/clear target" in a macro it completely clears my chat. Could you look into fixing this please? I don;t always need it but in a handful of scenarios it makes things much easier. Thank You!!
