add sfui/sfns fonts #1

they (both may be the same) are hard to find on the internet and also not provided by apple on their developer site.

they (both) are a variable font and don't contain sf symbols.(that makes it useful for software that won't use their private-use symbols.)

I'm not sure what these are, some older Apple fonts superseded by SF Pro Test and SF Pro Display (regular, compact, and/or rounded versions)?

Possibly of interest: this repository exists to complete the set of Apple fonts available in the Guix package manager so if you want to install any of them conveniently you can use that (with the Nonguix channel). is sf-pro.ttf(which is a variable weight font) without symbols? > sfui.ttf and/or sfns.ttf both are variable and don't have –SF– symbols

pharcosyle commented 10 months ago

I don't know if SF Pro contains their private-use symbols and I otherwise don't understand your question.

idontveapc commented 10 months ago

the font, –SFPro.ttf– extracted from .pkg downloaded on their site, does contain 5000+ private use SFsymbols. i don't want them as they're aren't gonna be used by anyone except on iOS, iPadOS or macOS...

Gotcha. Well, unfortunately I still can't help you. I don't really know what the sfui/sfns fonts are and I don't intend to add them here.

idontveapc commented 10 months ago

you might find them in fonts directory on macOS

pharcosyle commented 10 months ago

I don't run macOS

you could find them in the Core directory where “AppleSymbols.ttf” is found too!??
