Meeting notes from our meeting today which was attended by:

The discussion focused around 3 key stakeholder relationships:

  1. How do we collaborate within ourselves (industry contributors within regulated spaces)
    • From the pharmaverse, it was emphasized that there are contracts (I don't know if that is the right term - perhaps that sounds too rigid) with companies that encourages resource commitment and the pre-competitive nature of the work
    • [ ] Action: pharmaverse reps to pass along any info they might have for drafting these agreements
    • [ ] Action: Perhaps this is an opportunity for us to lay out resource commitment expectations and make the business argument clear to justify involvement
  2. How do we position ourselves to get active feedback from health authorities
    • Learned from submissions working group that they have \~10 active regulator participants, mostly grown out of a network spurred by initial contacts through R/Pharma
    • Where it makes sense, we could consider targeting a pilot through the submissions WG to deliver a mockup to gauge regulator receptiveness to what we plan to deliver
    • [ ] Action: Brainstorm what a MVP could look like
    • [ ] Action: Pitch an MVP pilot to submissions WG
  3. How do we build relationships with the broader R ecosystem
    • As a collective set of largely private organizations, how do we make sure that what we're doing is transparent and benefits all, not just those represented. Suggestions included transparent access to meetings, transparent meeting readouts, ensuring we're meeting a broader need coming from outside individual orgs.
    • Ensure we're engaging broader R developments, including the R Consortium Regulatories WG & R Hub project
    • [ ] Action: Repositories WG to invite our group to present on scope and help build connections to avoid redundancy
