Today we held an all hands meeting to recap our effort so far and put out a call for helping us to generate ideas based on the requirements we've gathered to-date.
Source slides available in our gdrive, and attached here.
Recap
Presented our history and work to-date:
The origins of the working group
The vision that we defined for ourselves
The requirements from stakeholder interviews
From there, the last half of the session was devoted to discussion
Discussion
Reviewed past ideas - our initial ideation products that we used to present to stakeholders as a basis for gathering feedback. Spanning solutions where we might provide tools, governance, or a service.
Keven highlighted that a new idea has even sprung forward during our interviews, and proposed another option for a knowledge-sharing marketplace for sharing endorsement of packages which could be incorporated into individual technical solutions
feedback from health authorities
(annotated with my mapping to requirements in italics)
HA policy requires sharing of testing upon request - transparency of testing process
if there are disagreements in analysis (ie, a significant p value), having to dispute implementation of software that was used - reproducibility of environment
request a policy around how we track "bleeding edge" packages; trailing behind latest packages to favor stability - stability of ecosystem, and maturity/adoption of software (by version)

[ ] Everyone: draft a vision for how you envision a product that meets the requirements. Our goal is to build a diverse set of interpretations for further refinement.
Please add a Google doc in our drive (feel free to email myself or @Crosita if you need access)
Set a rough cap of 2 pages, but form factor is up to you. A short paragraph, diagram, etc - anything is fine. What is important is that we're collecting your interpretation.
We'll use these product vision documents to build a sampling of solutions, and then reflect on them again with our requirements in mind and will take some of the integrated ideas back to our stakeholders to further refine the product we intend to deliver.
