I LOVE replacing renv() with devtools::install_dev_deps() !!! I start an RStudio session, clone the repo and do devtools::install_dev_deps() and everything (except lintr, stylr, ???) is in place. For example, I can run all the tests without needing to remember to install admiraldev, pharmaversesdtm.

I looked around in admiraldev to see where this is documented and I am not finding it.

I was about to post a new issue, but I believe it is more linked to this so thought I'd put in here instead. Currently in the Programming Strategy we've got

However, I don't believe we do have this anymore?

Correct! No longer using renv - where did you find this blurb?

In the programming strategy vignette (at the very bottom).

(But the updates that have been made to that look really good - and was a useful refresh, thank you!)
