Setting custom buffer lenght #690

Many of our customers complain about continuous buffering on their Chromecast. 
We use HLS streams with 10 seconds segments, delivered through Akamai. I see 
that there is sometime delay in the next segment being dowloaded, while the 
current segment has finished playback. So i think, if there is a way by which i 
can set the buffer length to a custom value like 60 seconds, i always have 6 
more segments in the buffer. I suppose this will eliminate the problem of 
buffering.

How do i achieve that ? and is it advisable ?

PS:All out content are feature films, about 120-180 minutes. Initial load time 
delay is not an issue for me.

Are you seeing this problem on both 1st and 2nd generation devices? We have 
only been able to reproduce the problem on the new 2nd generation devices.
