Explaining issues when running the project with ddev.

I need more information before I can merge this.

The disabling of settings management was done for a very specific reason, namely that Starshot automatically installs itself as early as it can, using the core/scripts/drupal install script, which expects to create settings.php with specific values. DDEV creating settings for us interferes with all of that, and caused errors for me.

What's the error you got? Maybe it points to a bug we can actively fix, rather than document it as a workaround in the README.

There's been no update here for nearly a week, so I can only assume @rqk2k found a workaround, or stopped encountering the error. I'm closing this one out, I think.
