For each of the four panels in the statistics panel:

add links showing interesting exemplar pages...

Ideally, each of these links will be designed as buttons (i.e. same as elsewhere) and have preview pop-overs...

So I add the for example in Dropdown Search? TTLL5 .etc?

Yes, something like below.

If it is easy to do, it would be super cool to add a 'history' to this:

To begin with, this would only have the exemplar link.
Any pages viewed are added to this list - i.e. maybe the last 5 pages viewed... (this could potentially be stored in the browser storage - i.e. an array of length 5 for each of the four panels)...
