Summary of functionality:

1) Clicking a checkbox for a journal adds the corresponding journal user as a collaborator with full (management) permissions, but this collaborator is hidden in the normal list. 2) When collaborators are displayed, they are first filtered against a list of known journal user accounts. If a collaborator is a known journal, then instead of showing it, we make it hidden and check the checkbox instead.
