Test device: Dell Operating System: Win 10 Browser: firefox and edge Problem description: For https://github.com/phetsims/QA/issues/306. Possibly part of https://github.com/phetsims/capacitor-lab-basics/issues/230 When electric field is turned on changing the size and distance of the capacitor plate can cause significant lag. Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the first screen (second works too)
  2. Turn the battery on to full and make sure the wires are connected to it
  3. Set the capacitors close together and as wide as possible
  4. Turn on the electric field
  5. Move the wires so they are straight up and down
  6. Move capacitors apart and shrink them
