Noticeable Lag in RGB Screen on iPad 3 #67

Closed arouinfar closed 10 years ago

arouinfar commented 10 years ago

Test device: iPad 3

Operating System: iOS 7.1

Browser: Safari 7.0

Problem Description: While mixing colors on the RGB screen, there is a noticeable lag (compared to other devices tested) between adding a color and having the color of the thought bubble update.

Steps to reproduce: 1) Open sim 2) Choose RGB Bulbs screen 3) Turn red on all of the way 4) Wait a second or two and then turn blue on all of the way

The thought bubble takes awhile to turn magenta, even though the red and blue photons are at the eye.

Severity: This is mainly a performance issue. The lag itself is not severe, but noticeable when compared to other platforms.

I tried to reproduce this on Sam's iPad3, but I didn't notice any lag aside from the time it takes the photons to reach the eye.

@aaronsamuel137, I remember it was a minor lag compared to the other platforms. Perhaps I had lots of apps running in the background of the iPad.
