Sim will not open on FireFox 31.0 Win 8 #76

The sim will not open and every time I attempt to open it on my machine I receive this issue. I am unable to access trouble shooting information.

It opens on my Win8/FF31. Can you try opening the Tools->Web Developer->Web Console before navigating to the page and see if it outputs any helpful information when you navigate to the page?

@samreid Before the Web Console could print anything the same prompt popped up, and I selected "Stop script" . This was printed afterwards.

@samreid Strange after trying again the sim opens.

@samreid Even stranger, I closed FireFox and attempted to reopen the sim (after It opened a moment ago) , and the same issue came up again.

All good on Mac + FF31.

I wonder if this is sim specific or a general issue with our sims and Win8/FF? @orejolaphet, do all the other sims work fine for you in Win8/FF?

I really have no idea where to start with this one, especially since I don't have access to a windows 8 environment right now.

@orejolaphet might be a good idea to try reproducing this again now that FF is updated to 32.0. On my personal device, opening this sim in Win8 while using FF31.0 or 32.0 has never been a problem.

@aaronsamuel137 all of our other sims have been opening, and still open. I have not been able to reproduce this issue today at all (9/2/14). It may be machine specific, and it has not occured since 5 days ago.

I haven't done anything about this. It seems hard to reproduce and might be some fluke rather than a problem with the sim.

We have never seen an issue or a complaint since publishing, closing
