This was not covered by the 1.0.0-rc.2 test matrix. I'm unclear on whether PhET's offline solution has been rigorously tested on all platforms, and it definitely needs to be before we go to the trouble of publishing.

I'm going to close this ticket, because (a) no one seems serious about testing this, and (b) apparently there are problems with the single-file solution on iPad, and there's no reason to regression test something that fails entirely on a supported platform.
