@ariel-phet would you say that we should keep the orientation for the under pressure screen, since it already published, or do you have any opinion on this issue (as the designer)?

ariel-phet commented 7 years ago

@zepumph I think lets keep the orientation of the ruler from under pressure

Also, I think we can remove the big red "X" from the ruler. This was an early design but I think considering we have a checkbox for the ruler, we do not need two ways of removing it from the scene.

Thanks! will do.

If you're measuring the depth of the fluid in the pool, shouldn't '0' be on the bottom of the ruler? If I was measuring fluid depth, why would I stick the '5' end of the ruler into the pool?

pixelzoom commented 7 years ago

To clarify... I don't think the orientation of the ruler in the Pressure screen is particularly useful for what it's provided to measure. The orientation shown in Flow seems preferable. So I don't understand the decision to "keep the orientation of the ruler from under pressure".

Assigning to @ariel-phet for design clarification.

@zepumph sorry, keep the ruler from under pressure in the sense that you see how that ruler has "zero" marked, and flip it around so the orientation has the zero at the bottom (so fluid depth can be easily measured as @pixelzoom points out)
