request for some pre-testing on Edge #109

A while back I did a bit of testing of GEE on the Edge browser, and I recall seeing some odd behavior, such as large portions of the screen turning black. I made a note to return to it, but I just did a bunch of testing on my Dell Win 10 laptop on the current master version of the sim, and I wasn't able to duplicate the behavior.

Since this sim is getting close to RC, I think it would be good to do some pre-testing on Edge by the QA team to make sure that there isn't anything egregious happening that would block a release.

I ended up producing an RC before anyone was able to get to this, so I'm going to close it and let the RC process determine whether there are issues running on Edge that require our attention.
