Make the legend and the control panel the same width? #77

When @jbphet showed neuron in the status meeting today, I noticed that the legend and control panel were a different width. Thought it might look a little bit nicer if they were the same width:

Reassigned to @jbphet to discuss. If not making them the same width, then consider left aligning them.
