A standard experiment is the resistance of a wire experiment. To do this with your fantastic simulation one would need a ruler and the ability to change the resistivity of multiple lengths of wire. That is the copper wire to have a very low resistivity, connected to a piece of say nichrome wire with a high resistivity. One could then investigate different types of wire (resistivity) and perhaps even different thicknesses of wire (place said wire in parallel or have literally different thicknesses of wire.
