Layout of equals sign vs equation is off in several browsers #38

In FireFox on Windows, Safari on Mac, and Chrome on Mac, the equals sign is not vertically centered on the equation. It is fine on IE9 and Chrome on Windows. Didn't explicitly test on Android, might be an issue there too.

Tested this in GalaxyTab and iPad, looks ok. Added patch for MAC and Windows/Firefox

Almost there. The current version looks good on Chrome, FireFox, IE9, iPad, and Nexus 7. However, it looks worse on Mac Book OS 10.8.3 running Safari. See screen shot. riaw-safari-equals-sign-too-low
