Jumpy distortion on Firefox while resizing window #905

Occurs on both Magnus, Dirac

Operating System

MacOS 10.11.6

Browser

Firefox 63.0.3

Problem Description

Discovered in https://github.com/phetsims/QA/issues/235, but a general Firebox issue. When window size is adjusted, the distortion patterns flash across the screen.

Steps to Reproduce

1) open any website in Firebox 2) drag edge of window to adjust the size

Sam Reid [11:08 AM] Can you reproduce it on another 10.11.6 MacOS firefox? May be graphics-card dependent?

Laura Rea [11:09 AM] Yes, happens on both Dirac and Magnus

Sam Reid [11:10 AM] I recommend to start a paper trail by creating an issue, and also to take the time to report this as a bug to Firefox, reporting for some non-PhET page such as google or wikipedia.
