Sound not playing on iPad Pro #43

User reported no sound playing on iPad Pro when 'Listener Audio' is checked.

Environment: IPad Pro. Chrome. Also tested in Safari. Listener Audio on. Volume set high.

Sound is working on my personal iPad Pro on Safari. My best guess is among these:

  1. Their ringer is off, this disables sound for PhET sims
  2. Sound was interrupted by changing tabs or going to sleep: https://github.com/phetsims/tambo/issues/157
  3. There may be some caching issue? They may be able to solve the issue by clearing their cache/history

I'm not sure what else do for troubleshooting? If you have ideas let me know and I'll be happy to help

Sounds good @KatieWoe. Are we also good in Chrome? I can reach out to the user and troubleshoot further.

Sound is working for me. I am on an iPad (9th generation) using iOS 17.0.2 and Chrome.

Do you know the iOS they used?
