The 1.0 branch is ancient, created on 4/4/2017. That has resulted in recurring MR hassles. So a new PhET brand version will be published, which will pick up these new features from main:

7/12/24 Added to the QA Pipeline. 8/20/24 Dev test started with 1.1.0-dev.10. 8/22/24 Dev test preempted by other higher-priority test. We'll need a new dev version.
