Fixed in https://github.com/phetsims/wave-on-a-string/commit/11deecc49730ee4b46ed1f9c13f99d4974abdffc, regression was from https://github.com/phetsims/sun/commit/4bc24631f5627f93e503a82263a4438776f496de (HSlider was ignoring x, WOAS was depending on it being applied).
