MRA58R boot.img on MRA58X? #26

I recently performed an OTA to 6.0.1 on my Nexus 6 and would like to root it. I'd really would like to avoid using a closed source Superuser like SuperSU so I was very excited to find this fork. I was just wondering if I could use the MRA58R boot.img on my phone?

I don't know if it's compatible, and I'm not going to play with any compatibility trick. FIY, MRA58X is 6.0, not 6.0.1. 6.0.1 shamu build is MMB29K (cf https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#shamu )

Anyway, I've generated MRA58X build.

BTW, you're speaking of the build bot whose git repo is actually https://github.com/phhusson/super-bootimg

...disregard the part about the OTA. This is why I shouldn't file Issues on GitHub at 5:50AM. My Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi was the one who got an update to 6.0.1, not my Nexus 6.

Anyway, thanks for the MRA58X build! :D And sorry for posting in the wrong repo!
