caret mode navigation issues in google define. #3085

search "define quorum" in google. a definition box should appear then press '/' to enter search mode and type "the min" and press enter, or take the cursor to that position using your mouse. then press 'V' to enter Visual/caret mode. the whole line must be selected, then you might want to also select the line bellow, so you would press j to also select that but you will realize that a whole lot of things will be selected. then you would try to get back by pressing k to fix your selection but you will realize that you won't be able to make it. also I have had this many times that In that mode I can go down with j/l but I can't really go back up with k/h. I'm using Firefox by the way.

I have the same issue with firefox and vimium-ff. In visual mode i can move selection up/down through the text using 'j'/'k', but i can not move selection back. Also, if i press 'v' to enter visual mode, then press '/' to search and type searching word, after i press enter vimium hotkeys doesn't work anymore until i click on website empty space by mouse.

any updates?

I think #2406 may be helpful to some degree, so does this problem still exist on Vimium v1.66?

rnmhdn commented 4 years ago

Yes, I still have the issue in 1.66
