Are there any plans to support vimium for Thunderbird? It's based on Firefox and supports many of the Web Extension APIs (https://thunderbird-webextensions.readthedocs.io/en/78/). If not, can you provide a summary of what it will take to support it? I might be able to contribute.
The Firefox Vimium Add-On installs and runs on Thunderbird, but is non-effective for the things I've tried so far.
My first thought on this: It would be better to code a plugin from scratch for thunderbird to implement some vim-like commands. I doubt the interface will have many useful analogs to the DOM.
