Hi,

I was excited to try the logseq-raindrop integration, however, it seems it only allows me to create an empty page under [[logseq-raindrop]] with the title of the article I chose. I don't know what's going wrong.

Thanks

Hi @yfhuang7, without more description of the problem there's not really anything I can do to help.

What would help is what version of the plug-in you're using, the title of the raindrop, whether or not there are any annotations, a screenshot of what's happening, mention of any errors, etc.

does the plug-in work on any raindrop? Or does it fail on all of them? Have you checked your access token is valid? (It is if you can search your raindrops).

Hi,

Sorry about the unclearness. I'm using Logseq version 0.8.9. The token should be working since I can see my raindrop collection when I click the icon (screenshot 1), but when I click the article, it only shows the title with an empty page (screenshot 2; no tags, including the tags that shouldn't be deleted according to the intro) without any error message. I've tried other raindrop articles that have highlights, but there was no difference. I didn't subscribe (pay for) the Raindrop, though, do I need to subscribe to make the integration successfully?

Thank you

No problem — that all looks good! You don't need to pay for Raindrop. You will need to delete any empty pages for Raindrops you already tried to import. The plugin won't add content to those pages, to avoid breaking things or editing anything you've written yourself.

I have a few other things you can try:

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, still none of them work - can grab the raindrop's title, but no tags.

I've tried delete all the raindrop pages and:

PS: I'm working on a Windows system.

Thanks

I have a few other things you can try:

  • disable other plugins and see if it works — just temporarily until we find which (if any) is breaking things
  • update the plugin in the Plugin page & retry
  • open the Devtools in Logseq and see if there are any errors in the developer console. I believe you'll have to turn on Settings > Developer Mode and then open devtools with Option+Command+I or Ctrl+Shift+I

Same issue! I too tried all the steps mentioned but none seemed to work.

@shridhi1234 are you also on Windows?

phildenhoff commented 1 year ago

Hi @shridhi1234 and @yfhuang7 — your issue may be solved in v0.1.3, if you're willing to try again!

yfhuang7 commented 1 year ago

Hi @phildenhoff, thank you so much for working on this. It works for me now!
