subtitles #19

There doesn't seem to be a way to have subtitles. Could you please add this functionality?

note there seems to be some sort of support for VLC subtitles as of the 4.787 pre-release, but I haven't tried it out yet.

SRT Subtitles are fully supported. Simply have the subtitle file with the same name next to video file.

example.mp4 example.srt

Then switch subtitles on in the settings/playback/subtitles.

VLC has extra subtitle support as it also supports internal subtitles. Under the subtitle menu you can chose video lan subtitles if there are any.
