I am still struggling to get volume controls on the above device to work. Is there a way to find the correct mapping to enable volume control?

Thanks for quick reply. Nothing happens. Sometimes one pip on LMS will move but thats it. Music plays fine, just the volume buttons on the speaker do nothing. The volume buttons work fine when AirPlaying directly to the speaker.

oh, that's the feedback not working, I see. Best if you to send me a log then. Clean the log, start playing something, wait like 10s and then try to change the volume on the player a few times then send me the log (all that can be found in plugin's settings)

hmmm ... seems that you have set Volume Mode to either Software or Ignored. Per default parameter, "Hardware" is required for feedback to work. In Software mode, the bridge applies scaling on the samples, which makes the volume management knob on the player useless and in 99.9% of cases not what you want - In fact, I should have removed this option, I only did it at the beginning because I had a faulty player which did not accept Volume control (had the same issue with iTunes and iOS controllers). I've never seen another one since then

There is a whole section in the User's Guide about Volume. If you've been trying different combinations, I really recommend you erase your config and do a fresh start. Usually, only the "encryption" needs to be tweaked for non-Apple-certified devices. Other than that, defaults work well with sometimes a need for Volume "Triggering" to be activated, but I really do recommend using defaults

These are how they were when I sent the log to you.. Other than the trigger was no. Tried that and made no difference..

I clicked erase on the config file and generated again. Still behaves the same and shows ignoring in the log even though its set to hardware. Also tried with encryption enabled which had no affect.

So we know its deciding to ignore the volume buttons and its set to hardware mode. Any other ideas?

Crap - I think I know what's happening, but this is the first player doing this: The control buttons on the device do NOT actually set the volume, they just ask controller to do that - no player that I've seen so far act like this. They all DO the change and INFORM the controller of it. What OS are you running onto?

Try version 0.3.3.0.8 - I've added an option for Volume Feedback to set it to "raw". In that case, there is no filtering out of tight loop commands, so this should work in your case. Use with caution

I now have this device as well. It also has physical controls for pause/play and prev/next.

Having enabled "raw" for volume control (which works) I now find that the physical buttons for pause/play and prev/next no longer work. I can generate a log if needed - but perhaps the "raw" function is not limited in its implementation to volume control.
