The option "Other" option does not exist anymore on the Google Credentials site. Trying Desktop and web types first, I finally got an intelligible error message from https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/device/code proposing to use "TVs and Limited Input devices" as an application type. Then the Oauth2 finally worked and I could access my subscriptions
