1 year ago Addendum: After 4 hours or so, as I was contemplating nuking the LMS install and starting from scratch, I decided to take a look at the plugins page to see if anything had changed. It had. The UPnP Bridge plugin was once again in the 3rd party list. I had done nothing.
Further, when I clicked to install, LMS went through its usual routine of saying it had to reboot. As usual, the plugin was istd at the top of the page as "aavailable for update." I clicked the checkbox, and clicked "Save." Nothing happened. I waited the usuao amount of time, and refreshed the page. The plugin was still listed at the top. I tried 3 times to get it to install. Nothing.
Just out of curiosity, I loaded up the plugins page using the default template. I was greeted with the "needs to restart" dialog. This dialog did not show up in the Material skin. Acknowledging the restart loaded UPnP Bridge, and my Pioneer has been recognized.
I am more than curious now as to why the plugin disappeared (in both Material and Default), and then mysteriously reappeared hours later. Further, is the Material Skin involved? I was given to understand that the skin is simply that - CSS and HTML5 GUI. Is that not true?
For now, my problem is mitigated, but it is far from fixed. I eagerly await any answer you may have.

The bridge refused to see my Pioneer receiver this morning, though it was fine last night. Rebooted everything, no change. Read some had trouble with UPnP Media Interface, so deactivated it. No change. So rescanned in bridge plugin. Didn't help. Erased and rescanned, and got an error of missing config file. Decided to deactivate bridge plugin and reactivate. However, UPnP Bridge plugin is no longer listed as an available plugin, active or inactive. No amount of reboots has helped.
I forced install of the "beta" version from your direct beta repository. Same issue with missing config file. Deactivated, and removed beta repository. UPnP Bridge still not showing under 3rd party apps.
