Ubuntu+nVidia+compiz bug might cause VNC to fail at refreshing #45

I'm not sure if you guys were aware of this bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-server/+bug/353126

Basically, the video stream fails to refresh if the person with the server
is using Ubuntu and has an nVidia video card with Compiz enabled. There
are "workarounds" posted through out the link above that you might decide
to integrate, like the "-noxdamage" option which isn't a great solution...
I suppose a real lofty feature that would "fix" the problem is for Compiz
to somehow be automatically disabled just before a VNC session begins, kind
of like how in Windows the desktop wallpaper goes black while a connection
is active.

I'm sure this bug will eventually get fixed (I could swear they did fix it
a while back and then it came back and seemingly nobody knows why), but it
is an issue that goes back for years with seemingly no progress being made
towards a fix recently.

This isn't really a bug report that pertains to gitso directly, but just
something I wanted to let you guys know about if case you hadn't
encountered it yet.

I didn't know about this bug. Thanks for bringing it up. It'll be interesting
to see
if others are having issues with this. I generally don't enable compiz, so I
haven't
seen the issue. Thanks though!
