Odd date issue #32

I'm looking at the current "latest" story in the app, which is "Alaska Power ..." and in the list, and on the story page, it says 17 Feb, 2011. However, if I look at the JSON from the proxy, it says: 2011-02-18T00:40:00Z

Wondering if there's an issue with the publish_date_short and publish_date_long functions?

It's doing time zone conversion. Since it's client side, it knows where you live too.

Doesn't seem right. 2011-02-18T00:40:00Z is more than 24 hours ago now.
