kcite breaks on datacite DOIs #9

The following text fails to render.

[cite]http://dx.doi.org/10.5517/CC12GP8H[/cite],

[cite]10.5517/CC7YK1R[/cite] are both Datacite,

The problem is specific to datacite DOIs
