Are you going to release the latest version as a gem to rubygems.org? #1

We need this fix, and would prefer to not build our own gem:

http://github.com/philnash/bitly/commit/a9509e8ac566f09c5a8b973570f8c6480f38de52

Thanks...

The latest version of the gem (0.4) is at http://rubygems.org/gems/bitly.and that includes that commit (doesn't it?).

OK, I was looking at philnash-bitly, not bitly. I should know better.

I've often thought it would be good to release a non-functional 9.9.9 version of deprecated gems with a pointer to the real gem, to avoid this problem. That way there is no confusion that the deprecated gem is not maintained anymore. May break people who have >= as a version spec, but that's easily fixed.

Ah, I understand. Sorry for the confusion.
