I've tried different approaches to fix this issue without any luck. Basically, when I use 'Native' labels and re-position,zoom, and navigate the SpaceTree the nodes' remain clickable in past areas where they resided. In the image attached I wasn't placing the cursor over any node and still the 'tooltip' of a child node (which at the moment wans't visible on the Spacetree) was showing. Any thoughts about this?
