Deployment for the AMMSS 2024 campaign. At the Blencathra Field Studies Council site.

MRR set up and leveled. Thread stripped in one adjustment screw. See #45

Relatively near a tree to the NNE, but limited cable reach has limited the deployment and it should be fine above the tree line

Gallion wind lidar set up and levelled. From the head end to the non head end is in the direction 21 degrees magnetic.

Re the gallion, 21 degrees magnetic is equivalent to 0 degrees for the lidar - just to clarify the orientation

Hugo would like to scan down 2 valleys. One at 235 Deg magnetic. One at 161 Deg magnetic

To do a 46 point rhi takes 4 mins 30, sa about 6 seconds per point

Horizontal scan from lidar relative angle of 90 to 270 (0 on the plot is 90, 90 on the plot is 270)

I set lidar to do to scans down the valley, a horizontal scan to the south and two VAD scans at 60 degree elevation and 30 degree resolution

I brought the wrong pyranometer/pyrgeometer set. So these are not running. I will have to come back with the correct set.
