Bought the book and got the wrong one #1

Hi, sorry for putting this here... I couldn't find any other way of contacting you guys.

When I heard you had a new edition, I wanted to buy it, and went to your old site and bought the book, but that was the old version of the book that I read online.

Why do you have 2 sites with different versions of the book? I read the site version before and was very disappointed when I got that version.

Can you help?

Sorry about that Marc. The Tychos project is kinda running on steam I'm sad to say. It's really amazing that four years in, still only two people is working actively with it - me and Simon. And I don't have the time and energy to both work on the website and also make a new version of Tychosium that I'm currently working with.

Can I offer to make the website for a copy of the new book? I make high end banking software and really nice websites.

Dear Marc, I am NOT sorry that you bought ("by mistake") the 1st edition of the TYCHOS book. After all, once it goes out of print, it will probably become - many years from now - a collector's item worth perhaps 1$million! (think about your kids, they'll be grateful for your 'mistake') :-)

Also, please note that in the PREFACE of the 2nd Edition (freely available online) I specifically stated that:

"At the time of writing (March 2022), the 2nd Edition of the TYCHOS book is not yet available in physical form."

We (Patrik and I ) are still looking for a good publisher of the 2nd Edition of the TYCHOS book - we just haven't found it yet.

Having said that, Patrik and I would be absolutely delighted if you would help us making a nice and 'slick' website for the 2nd Edition. I am personally an IT illiterate (lol) - so please contact Patrik for any technical / IT issues.

Hahah, thanks @simonshack, I hope you are right (and don't doubt it)! I have been studying many different views in astrology and cosmology, and I only know for sure that main stream view is completely wrong. My current book is "The Lost Star" and am enjoying it.

I did enjoy reading the first edition of your book online, and wanted a paper copy for the next edition (so I am avoiding reading it online), however, I will be happy to add this one to my book collection.

I have a couple projects right now, so as long as you are not in a huge rush, I can start putting something together for you guys in early fall. @pholmq I will email you to ask for assets (like logo and details) late summer. If you find someone else, let me know.

Thank you Marc for offering to help. A new site needs to support Markdown/MDX since that is the format Simon writes in. The current site is based on Nextra, a Nextjs static site builder.

Yes this is huge since Simon not only disprove the current heliocentric model but it's also demonstrates in his book and through Tychosium that his model is the correct one.
