Expected Behaviour

Actual Behaviour

Reproduce Scenario (including but not limited to)

Install the app with push notifications, open the app and it asks for enable/disable push notification. By enabling we can receive the notifications. If we disable the notification manually in the device's notification settings. When we open the app again we can detect that it is disabled or enabled. If it is disabled we want the prompt again saying please enable/disable notification.

Steps to Reproduce

Platform and Version (eg. Android 5.0 or iOS 9.2.1)

(Android) What device vendor (e.g. Samsung, HTC, Sony...)

Cordova CLI version and cordova platform version

cordova --version # e.g. 6.0.0
cordova platform version android # e.g. 4.1.1

Plugin version

cordova plugin version | grep phonegap-plugin-push # e.g. 1.5.3

@kumar2live as far as I know there is no way to trigger the prompt again. When your user has decided to deactivate push permission, he/she needs to re-activate it through iOS settings app. This is not something the plugin can change. Btw it’s the same for all permissions alike, eg. geolocation.

@ucsbricks Thanks for responding! I think this make sense if they choose to disable then only way is device settings.
