Define and document API #171

The current prototype API is simplistic, and only supports navigating to a new page, and closing a window. The doc should define how we intend to pass+retrieve data, and all interactions supported by the host view, and the client view.

This is specifically a definition of what the API 'should' be, or is expected to be. Realistically this will change during implementation and this document (probably just the readme) should be updated when it changes.
