Some fediverse platform icons #512

Describe the requested icon(s)

I noticed that phosphor added icons for the fediverse and Mastodon. I take this as a sign of interest in including fedi software, and have a couple of suggestions for other fediverse software icons to include. These will be useful for collections of social media links.

Additional context

I'm a bit biased towards Lemmy being included since I'm one of its maintainers.

I'm also a big fan of this icon library. I'm even using it in Lemmy's UI rewrite

First off, that's awesome you're rewriting Lemmy UI with leptos! Are any instances (or test deployments) currently using it?

I'm pro-fedi, and in general we're all for making these icons -- but in terms of order of execution, I doubt we will get to all of these in our next release. We do have a mandate to serve other requests, and in general we are trying to limit the number of brand icons we do (see #392 if you haven't already).

That said, we can definitely prioritize the big ones like Lemmy, Pixelfed, Misskey. Friendica, Akkoma, Kbin, and others are all pretty tiny networks still, AFAIK.

Not yet. Development on it got held up for awhile and has only started to pick up again. There are some videos of a very early development version of the app on a PR I made recently though.

As for which icons you do, I have no problem if you don't do every single one of them. I thought it would be good just to get the ball rolling.
