In Vectorpea there isn't a possibility to change the opacity of the fill or stroke. There is an option to change the opacity of the whole shape.
In Illustrator, in this panel (Appearance) you can change many of the styles and filters added to the whole path or only to the stroke or fill. In this panel, you can also add more than one stroke, fill, and many more things.
But for the start - it can be only the panel with the possibility to change the opacity of the whole path, stroke, and fill + adding more than one stroke and fill (full fill + gradient fill for example).
All of these should be made on one path in the layers panel.
