People: Add relations between people

in people section a person should be more than just a category of faces recognized on photos, but also have some description, relations to other people etc

Great idea! Maybe we can add this later. Would you be willing to pay for a "pro" version? That would enable us to spend more time with development.

Absolutely, would be wonderful. Thought about that, too.

I think these aspects might be worth considering:

Add categories of people (for instance I keep freelance photography work and private pictures in Photoprism, so custom categories to sort people into their respective "ecosystems" would be nice: friends, family, co-workers, people I do photo work for, models, ...)
Add Information about people - with humans it would seem logical to include contact information. Considering data protection it definitely seems like a good idea to me to store contact info along with people in case you need to ask permission to use a photo of them etc. Not sure if it would make sense to even be able to connect that to existing address books, import vCards, ... - for me it doesn't have to be complicated, I'd be happy with just a field for notes for starters.
Talking about contact information: I would like to propose metadata templates like in DigiKam - I realise that is a different discussion, but: Should you guys deem that viable and desirable, it might make sense to perhaps utilise the same contact info stored with a people person in a creator template associated to that person, utilising it for the creator contact fields commonly used in image metadata (would have to look what their names are specifically).

don't you think that relation between people this is an attempt to get into the territory of the genealogical software that focus on genealogical tree
