Keep in mind this is code under development (not even a release candidate). Did you regenerate your .htaccess? And did you get the fixes from this bug? Click here: https://github.com/phpBBSEO/usu/issues/63 to read the problem/workaround.

It hasn't been released into the master branch. But if you read the above issue, it provides workarounds that will confirm (or not) if this is the same problem.
