Is there a way tha during the discover process with the scan-agent that we use a dns server on the side of the scan agent.

Im asking cause im trying to make it work on vyos and it should cool to specify a dns server in the scan-agent config to prob dns server on the scan agent side to resolve hostname

This would be very useful to me as well. Any chance this feature is being considered?

Same here, I like to manage two duplicated/isolated. 192.168.1.0/16 subnets in an intranet. Each 192 subnet has its now DNS server.

Greetings,

Anyone has found a solution for this? Facing the same problem rn.

Just to say I'm in the same situation - we have networks with the same subnets and DNS servers (but which are actually different systems). I can use the agent to scan the subnet with problems, but without it also being able to do the DNS resolution I can't automate that. Is this something that would need development from the PHPIPAM side as well as the agent?
