Target used*: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3d/25_Meter_Precision_and_50_Meter_Pistol_Target.svg

The number on each ring is the point value for landing in the ring.

*Technically, any scorable target can be used with this protocol, the listed target is simply the official one used in competition.

Official rules here: http://www.pistol.org.au/events/disciplines/issf

When activated, the protocol proceeds as follows:

User is first asked to configure random delayed start interval which will be used for beep to start each round.

  1. 10 second pause to allow the shooter to position themselves (in case they need to walk away from their computer).
  2. ShootOFF says "Shooter, make ready."
  3. After a random pause in configured delay interval, a beep sound is played to start the round. Shots are not recorded in this time.
  4. The shooter is given 150 seconds to make 5 shots. The round ends immediately after the 5th shot if 150 seconds have not elapsed yet.
  5. Steps 2-4 are repeated 3 more times.
  6. ShootOFF says "Shooter, make ready."
  7. After a random pause in configured delay interval, a beep sound is played to start the round. Shots are not recorded in this time.
  8. The shooter is given 20 seconds to make 5 shots. The round ends immediately after the 5th shot if 20 seconds have not elapsed yet.
  9. Steps 6-8 are repeated 3 more times.
  10. ShootOFF says "Shooter, make ready." 11 After a random pause in configured delay interval, a beep sound is played to start the round. Shots are not recorded in this time.
  11. The shooter is given 10 seconds to make 5 shots. The round ends immediately after the 5th shot if 10 seconds have not elapsed yet.
  12. Steps 10-12 are repeated 3 more times (step 13 is skipped if shots are inspected after the event).
  13. ShootOFF announce's the players score for the event and records it in the shot timer.
  14. The protocol ends (hit clear shots to go again).

Shots are recorded as usual in the shot timer. This training protocol records the particular round with each shot (e.g. "R1 (150s)", "R2 (150s)", etc.).
