Add popups like the ones in Wikipedia that appear whilst hovering over an internal link (a link to an essay). These popups would show only the first few lines of the article, of course, and have a read further link beyond that.
They would be build at build time rather than after that (ideally in phseiff-essays, I suppose).
Essays that are beyond a specified length can not be visited at all and will not even be embedded into the website; instead, their link can't be clicked and only the popup that appears on hover can be read (clicking them pins and un-pins the hovering cards).
